Stop Press: This picture has now been placed in the project Woolf Weather. I found so many quotes about the weather in the books of Virginia Woolf that I decided to do a project.
This picture is taken from my on-going project currently called Rain. The project involves sorting through existing pictures and taking new ones to fit the brief. We are now getting to the time of year when the weather changes and we get more rain.
This picture was taken in Sulham. I am standing in bright sunshine looking at the dark rain clouds coming my way. The signs warn of cows with newborn calves and cattle grazing in fields: keep dogs on a lead! The mirror helps to see any traffic coming around the bend as you leave the drive opposite. The dark sky brings out all the different colours, shades of green, and serves as a perfect backdrop.
The title is taken from the book The Waves by Virginia Woolf. I am trying to give all the pictures in this project titles taken from sources I have read, seen or heard.
